Last Saturday April 23rd Paris hosted its first Grand Prix race ever with 18 electric-powered cars competing in the 2016 FIA Formula E championship. The Paris Formula E Grand Prix, that followed its course around the Hôtel des Invalides right in the heart of the French capital in the 7th district was cheered on by 18,000 spectators eager to welcome this environmentally friendly race in a city that is becoming more and more "green". Tickets had sold out almost overnight when they went on sale in mid-February.
"Partner in time" of the e.dams-Renault team, Richard Mille was there to congratulate drivers Sébastien Buemi from Switzerland and Nicolas Prost of France who showed off their talent and proved their mettle in a tough, competitive race, finishing 3rd and 4th respectively just behind Brazilian Lucas Di Grassi and Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne who took the first two places on the podium.
